Many customers have inquired whether CT Summation software is affected by the changes to the Daylight Saving Time this year, the first of which will occur on March 11th.

Because CT Summation software does not have an internal clock and instead reads the clock from the workstation's operating system, no patch is required to CT Summation applications to address the 2007 DST reset.

However, to ensure that the operating system's clock is correct, customers should apply all relevant Microsoft Daylight Saving Time patches prior to March 11, 2007 when the first DST change goes into effect. Microsoft does have specific patches for the Daylight Saving Time change.
